Youth Employment: Abu Dhabi Bags Prestigious ‘Africa Patrotic Business Personality Award’

In recognition of his contributions towards youth employment and development in Africa through corporate investments, construction etc, the League of African Development Students (LEADs), has conferred on the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Projects Limited, Mr Michael Ibe Nwoke (Abu Dhabi), its 2019 prestigious Africa Patriotic Business Personality Award.

Described as a selfless and dedicated employer of labour and a humanitarian son of Africa who has touched many lives, the President of LEADS noted that the awardee Agency’s contribution to the growth of the association and employment creation in Nigeria, is very remarkable.

Further eulogizing the successful owner of estate management/consultancy services and constructions firm, LEADS added, “This honour aimed not only to appreciate and recognize you, but to spur you to greater commitment to bettering human society”.

The international student body also explained that the award is in “careful recognition of Nwoke’s contributions to Africa’s development through Corporate Investments, construction, Youth Engagement/Employments, Corporate social investment, outreaches to the less privileged in the society, selfless dedicated and meritorious service to God Almighty, Humanity across Africa”.

Receiving the award, the recipient, Hon. Michael Ibe Nwoke pledged to continue in his quest to empower youths across Nigeria and beyond and described the award as an honour.

Established in 1985 at the Bayero University, Kano, the LEADS has the core objectives of sensitizing young students in the African continent on positive approaches, with its headquarters in Ghana.

It has membership in over 100 tertiary institutions across the African continent and Affiliated with All Africa Students Union.
