Hailing from a sleepy town of Agbamuzu, a suburb of Bende metropolis in Bende Local Government of Abia State, he has emerged as a shining star, illuminating the horizon with his brilliance. Widely traveled, he has also traversed the universe, absorbing diverse cultures, ideologies, and experiences, which he seamlessly activates in his public engagements for maximum impact and deliveries.

I have been opportune to do worship with him and I have seen him lift his hands up in utter surrender and in complete inebriation of angelic wraps.

He feels the celestial realms and reaches his spiritual apogee when he has to thunder the famous, miracle-dotting song of Rev. Uma Ukpai: “Onye nwe nmadu, anam ekele gi wo…”

His name is Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives. I fondly call him Dedem!
