Breaking: NLC To Shutdown Economic Activities Nationwide On August 2

The Nigeria Labour Congress will shutdown economic activities across Nigeria starting on Wednesday, 2 August, 2023 in protect against the prevalent hardship in the country occasioned by government’s policies. A senior official of the Congress confirmed.

Recall that NLC in a statement by the President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, at the end of the 2023 Rain School held in Uyo, urged Nigerians to prepare to join the Congress in a coalition ag against government recent policies that tends to worsen poverty situation in the country.

The source confirmed that “there will be an irrevocable strike action by NLC that will commence on 2nd August. The source also said that NLC will release official statement on the planned strike.
