NACCIMA Appoints Thelma Ekiyor As MSMEs’ Division Boss

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has appointed Thelma Ekiyor as the Chairperson of its Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises’ (MSMEs) division.


Thelma, the Managing Partner of Nigeria’s SME Impact Investment Platform and the Chairperson of Afrigrants Resources Ltd, was announced as the Chairperson of the division during a seminar to mark the International Women’s Month in Abuja.


The seminar was organised by the trio of SME.ng, NACCIMA and Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to NACCIMA, the appointment is in recognition of Thelma’s sterling accomplishments in providing investments and grant opportunities for micro and small businesses across the country.


The LABOUR reports that by her new appointment,Thelma Ekiyor,a renowned philanthropist, who also doubles as author and advisor, would be working closely with over 70,000 MSMEs registered under NACCIMA to improve their businesses for the overall advancement of the Nigerian economy.


Recall that NACCIMA which was established in 1960 is the umbrella organisation for various affiliate member Chambers of Commerce within Nigeria.
